TP is a whiny weenie. He's evidently holding a grudge.
One is still driving and has a team. The other is doing a not so good job doing color commentary.

I couldn't help but notice how Tony ranted about jf racing hight. Do you think tony is still sore about his argument when tony was still driving?
Tony or caps for that matter said nothing about Anderson racing his team car. Mysteriously pushed in the clutch?
Don JF sandbagged plain n simple for even a blind man........... "Believe nothing you hear and half of what you see" a wise but insane man(my uncle)told me this years ago.............

Horsecrap! Force threw it away, even Ray Charles could have seen it. I don't go for "the team win" deal. If I was racing against my Dad,you can be damn sure both of us would be out to win, none of this take it for the team crap. Don Schumacher was right in saying something about it too.

The other is doing a not so good job doing color commentary. I still don't understand how he got "the nod" for that job.

Answer this scenario then - You have enough points to go to the final and win 1 Million dollars and the championship but your dad does not have the same points or opportunity - but in order to get to the final you have to beat your dad in the semi's - what do you do???

Only a complete MORON would walk away from the million (which is significantly more because you also get sponsor money) and chance losing a sponsor. It is what it is. You can't just give away money.

Throwing the race is an example of how Big Money ruins purity, and eventually, the Sport that brings in the Big Money. "We have seen the Enemy, and He is Us." Back in the day, sure, it was about winning, but sportsmanship & honor were held in high regard, if not being absolutely essential. Guys raced out of their garages. Your team was your buddies who contributed. One car. Problem was, nobody earned any real money at it and some guys wanted to, which is understandable. Plus it was getting more expensive to win as new parts were invented to feed the/our addiction. It's pretty much human nature: racers want to go faster/quicker, fans like the big numbers, racing-related businesses need income, and things spiral. The only guys that pretty much have a handle on it are the Nostalgia guys. I think it was Capps that mentioned that a lot of fans were booing Force all down the return road, obviously concluding that he'd thrown the race and they'd been gypped out of the show that every ticket-holder pays for. That sure isn't good for the Sport, NHRA, or the sponsors. So at the end of the day, or at the bottom line, whatever, one has to choose: sportsmanship or money? Like I said earlier, I understand the money; but I have more appreciation for sportsmanship, as I find it more noble and worthy of more respect.

He's better than Paul Page. Ok, not really. No, definitely, infinitely better than ol' Paul Fail Page. He knows a lot about fuel racing is why he got the nod. He's probably nervous at times and screws up a bit. Dave Reiff, who I always liked, can be a complete tard at times as well. Reinhart is the man!

So what would your dad do - take you out and you lose the mil? Also if you really do go to races with your buddies and you are all in the same class do you all get together and go to staging at the same time to run each other? LOL - I bet you spread out so that you do not knock each other out to increase your odds of getting into the $$$$.
