Even the top end interview gal was dynamite. Bruno Massel and Tony Pedregon were cool. They were backing up the slo-mo and stuff. I have to admit that Pro Stock was pretty entertaining as well. Butner with Bandit wrap and the good looking crew and Pam Johnson in a Hellcat suit! Uh.........RARrrrRRRrrrr! How about the Cole Trickle tribute Dodge? Derek Kramer? I know, I know....you'd rather watch Pro Stock Camry than Camaro.

I would be interested in whatever the proposal that Richard Freeman (Elite) gave to NHRA, but it looks like it helped change their mind. My guess is that if it does not gain some traction in 2018 (no pun intended), it will be over soon after that. Bill

Narrow the range of offerings down to blown & unblown. Allow the blown cars some real tire size & backhalf work. Call them ProStock. Bingo, instant 1970 as far as brand participation, fan loyalty, and cars that look like cars. The existing PS cars could be re-powered, some downforce mandated for safety, and go to Comp.
