I've gone to this race around 40 times and still get excited for it every year. I'll be there from Saturday 10-21-17 till hopefully LATE Sunday 10-29-17 or if I win Monday morning. GREAT time with GREAT Friends. Wow now that's a car count!! Have a great time love to be involved in something like that. You would love it Al. I have meet so many out of state Friends that make the trip every year. I think the highest car count was close to 1500 years ago but they used to give a Saturday time trial and when they stopped doing that we lost a few hundred (thankfully)LOL. We can park Saturday this year and its and "all run" box, no box race Sunday, again on Wednesday, I entered the 128 car box race on Thursday as you can only enter one (either Thursday or Friday) and my Son races on Friday, then we run 1st round of the big race on Saturday then the kids go trick or treating. I swear the whole town of Norwalk shows up for that. Nice payout for a super fair entry.

Tim works in skilled trades for Chrysler and has a ton of time off since he's been there a while. I'm a gubbermint werker. My boss is super supportive of my racing hobby and gives me time off for it. I am very lucky.
