just wondering if you guys think theres a little price gouging going on.a monopoly thing.
im at a point where i might go for the (4) for the car since i have original spares in my trunk.

Your Road Runner still has all 5 originals, doesn't it? If you are gonna flog the Bee, you might want to use the Firestones at that price?

john, the bee got the firestone G70-15's on H wheels powder coated
a12 Roadrunner originals are tucked away in storage. got 4 h wheels with F70-15's on there right now.
i wanted to switch over the firestones to the roadrunner and put some goodyears on the bee, for carlisle.

Considering production cost with the fact they wont sell many, the price probably isnt out of line.

And this surprises you HOW ??? price gouging ... it runs rampant in the hobby , they have a captive market and are the only game in town. Would you expect anything less ?? And the FACT that they SOLD OUT the first run so fast it wouldn't surprise me if they price the next run HIGHER to see what the market will bear ...

i will be buying 8 tires next run.just sold a truck load of 69 nos parts to a friend down south so a paint job and some new tires on one of my cars and tires on the other will be a good investment. safer then stock market.

I don't blame you for bringing them in the house! What is the scoop on your Bee? Should we already know it or has it just surfaced?

It would be nice if you had your originals on the bird for Carlisle. That would make three of us with 5 original tires counting the 5600 mile Bee!

I've had them on since Carlisle this time. I usually take them off and put them under a cover and put my Prostars on it. I'm putting them under cover this weekend. Thanks for reminding me!
