I didn't want to take away from Cabs post, but had a couple questions.I have a Milidon oil pump, but may not be able to use the port/fitting at the pump. It is a dual line system, with various parts. I'll show a couple pics, but my question is, does it matter which combo of fittings you use? Can I use the one off the pump, and one off the filter adaptor? Could I use the one on the Indy block next to the oil pump(pic#2), and the one off the filter adaptor? How about both fittings off the filter adaptor? Thanks as always,Dave.

The basic concept with a dual inlet system is to feed both sides of the oil pump. So as long as you're using one inlet on each side of the pump you should be fine. Take the pump apart and study it and you'll see what I mean by feeding each side of it.

Ok, thanks for the input. The port on the block itself is a good workable place to have a inlet though, correct?

Thanks Tony. I had a single line, and the bearings looked great also. Thought I needed the dual line? Thanks.

I've been running the single line setup for years..problem i have is it takes a bit to get up oil pressure. I've tried routing the line differently too.

Check out Cabs post " Dual line Milidon oiling system". It's a billet part that isn't made anymore(so I hear), but there are options to this one. Good luck.

maybe if there was a big enough demand they would make a run of them, that cover looks nice

Yes, the front of the block is a good place for the inlet but I think your Milodon pump blocks off that inlet. Take your pump apart and look at it.

I designed a pump to work with the World block's front pickup location but I haven't built any yet.

The fram filter is there for mockup only. I have been using WIX racing filters. I agree with you

I'll look at the pump as suggested. I agree the Milidon pump will be in the way if using the fitting on the block. I am having fitment issues with the radiator hose, and headers I built, so I'm trying to come up with more options, and thus the reason for the post. I would use one or the other. But first I'll inspect the pump.Thanks.

Sneak peak from the book. Special radiator hose that clears the Milodon pump.
