I thought that I would share a little informatiom about those darn dual line Milidon oiling systems I spent the better part of 9 hours making one work, the system had one bad new line, the long one, a bad pump cover that has a internal air leak and a bad connection on the pick up in the oil pan(the customer had assembled the pick up, the new one piece non swiviling steel one pick up, in the pan before I got involved on the project) Luckily the customer had a old system that always worked that was on the bench so we could swap parts around to identify the bad new parts What a waste of time trouble shooting new parts I hope this helps some of you in the future, don't buy the Milidon stuff, use some other brand instead

Cab, one of the TWIN Rathburg's is about to slap you right about now man!

I have used the Milodon setup without issue before. And I also used the INDY setup. I'd prefer the INDY setup if I had to do it again.

Not to hijack the thread, but does a indy plate work on a dual milodon pump very well instead of using the cast milodon plate.

I have one on mine. I have blown the filter off it once, blown the green gasket once, what next? Does make for a thrill ride though.

the Muscle Motors pump cover cured the problem very nicely. no more PITA green gasket leaks. money well spent!!!

That's the one. I was told by a friend of his that he stopped making them.

Cab I took other peoples advise and removed the filter adaptor and drilled and taped for AN fittings and a remote oil filter. With my new front suspension I will now be able to run a dual line system and the new block as the provisions to run a line right to the block.

I use a Milodon duel line setup and never have had a problem. I use a static pickup in the bottom of the 12 quart pan. I also use a blueprinted hi volume melling pump with the Milodon bottom plate and cover and filter adapter. I use the good original milodon gasket between the pump cover and oil filter adapter. I've always had instant oil pressure on startup, even after an oil and filter change. Dave

how is the steel plate sealed to the cover and is it certain they're not going to be made anymore?
