Who's was this trans & bell? I do believe someone here posted this image....I was curious to see if they still have the set up laying around.

My four OD833 transmissions fits all my other three OD style bellhousings and a Lakewood....but none of my OD833 trany's fit this one newer style bell.

Lower Driverside doesn't bolt up

I'm probably going to have someone weld that hole up and redrill and tap so truly takes all Mopar 833 trans....or did Mopar change how the OD833 bolted up in the end there?

That is mine. I still do have it, but is tucked away deep in the shop. Will take a few days to get it back out. It came from a early 90's D100. I was more curious about the hydraulic setup but may not be able to use it in a B/E body car.

So that OD833 was factory in a 90 or you bolted up to that bellhousing?

Thanks for the feed back.

that 90 d100 could of had the a535 5 speed behind a v6

I got my duel pattern hydro bell from a 88 d100 v6 a535 5 speed

I do not have a 833/OD833 to fit to it but the 435 4 speed fit and it had the a535 5 speed which replaced the 833/OD833 4 speeds.

the NV4500 5 speed hydro bell is NV4500 specific

although I will have to see if it will fit the 435 4 speed I have now that both are on the shop floor.

we had pulled the assembly (bell housing, transmission, and hyd. clutch setup out of a 1990 D100 with a 318. It appeared that it had never been out. I run a lot of the 833OD in my muscle cars for mileage and hoped this setup would work but it got shoved off to the barn and is buried under a mountain of other parts.

I have yet to pull the bell housing off the transmission to look for a casting number.

Rather than try to weld up a cast iron bellhousing I would find a grade 2 (no marks on the bolt head) bolt and Loctite it in place, then use a transfer punch to put the center of the new hole where it belongs, drill with a drill press, tap and you're there.
