Can't seem to find a definitive answer on this anywhere on web. Part #'s are of little help as I've found many.
Does someone have a diagram (or part #'s) or know how many O2 sensors on a 97 3.9 Reg cab Dakota 4x4

From what I've found 2 to 4 and so far I can only spot 2 on truck.

Go to rock auto and look at the replacement exhaust pipes. there is one in the Y just before the cat and one after the cat, so 2.

Bet that matches your truck. But there does appear to be two different possible rear O2 sensors, depending on pig tail length.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

Yeah, that's what had me confused and looking for more than 2.
Just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy.
Thanks up
