Anythings possible I guess........This may be something I look into now, if I can only get one of my friends to spray carb cleaner around the intake at 132+mph.

That rascal is either to fat or running out of fuel in high gear above 5000 rpm

What are the signs of being too fat in high gear?

A buddy of mine said I could have a aeromotive 1000 pump and was curious if I could deadhead it for now at the track just to see if my deal is fuel related. He said he did for a couple years race only......how bout any of you?

THATS A GOOD IDEA,TRY THE PUMP,I DONT THINK ITS A FUEL PROBLEM.HOW FAR APART WERE YOUR PASSES,HOW MANY CARS WENT DOWN THE TRACK BEFORE YOU?JUST WONDERING IF YOUR 1ST PASS WAS WITH FRESH VHT,AND PASSES LATER WERE JUST WITH THE RUBBER ON TRACK? PLUS WHAT ABOUT WEATHER CONDITIONS,HOW MUCH DID THE DA CHANGE?

It is lazy in high gear, the safe way to make sure is to increase the jet sizes one or two sizes on the Holleys and if the car slows down you know you have enough fuel delivery to slow the car down. Once that test is done then try one or two sizes smaller than what it had before jetting it up and see if the MPH goes up, if it does then jet it down some more, a little at a time until it starts to lose MPH

Cab, when I was at Irwindale we richened the hi-speed bleeds and the car picked up and ran back-to-back 6.22`s at 109+mph w/ 1.36 60 ft`s. So, I have not been able to fatten it up to slow it down yet so who knows but, I was able to fatten it up on the chassis dyno enuff to loose 30hp.

The chassis dyno is not the track, no air being forced into the scoop time for more testing, come to the MATS race and test, test, test and test some more
