Hey guys, after a month or so of back and forth..... This thing came home with me. The previous owner bailed on the resto.

This thing has the fender tag, no motor or trans. It's lightly equipped, but r6 red with a white painted top and stripe. This guy was going in a very different direction....ie wheel tubs and trunk patch. I'm gonna fix all that, so stay tuned!

Are you taking the frame connectors and tubs out?

Debating that???? The tubs are done nicely, but I personally don't like them.... I am currently removing all the narrowed spring hanger mods.

Oh she's coming back to life killer.... just when and with what power plant? Seriously debated putting my 472 hemi in the bee and stroking a 383 for the Challenger..... as my wife says can't leave well enough alone! Lmao

My wife says the same about me. She has a 14 Challenger rt and I just can't wait for the warranty to expire. Projects take me twice as long, because I am constantly changing something. Lol.

To put inner and outer wheel houses can I install those with taking just the trunk floor out? Surely they can be replaced without cutting quarters???? TIA
I'm also gonna replace rear floor and trunk extensions to eliminate these wheel tubs installed. So I'm wanting to know how to attack this so to speak.....

I'm pretty sure you can do it without cutting the quarters, depending on how they did the tubs. Progress looks good.

Next is tackling the connectors..... then body work. Tub removal, still needing to know if it's possible to install the trunk and wheel houses without cutting the quarters out????

Well it's been a bit since I've added anything.... The Bee is in the body shop getting metal work so....
I landed a B Body Dana for the car. It was a "ready to bolt in" special.... yeah boy! It was nice and clean on the outside... I'll just leave it at that! I tore it down and changed the ratio from 3.54 to 4.10(should be good with the Passon 5 speed). So, now it's back good as new and ready to finally "bolt in"!!! I'll add some shots of my two year old helping button it up, later!

Update: Some body shop pics I took today. Work is happening....

At least there is work being done! I'm working on small items while the metal work is in progress. More to come soon I hope??? They're test fitting the wheel houses and then we can weld it all together. That is all for now!

So, while I'm waiting on the Bee bodywork I've been working on the engine swapping project...This will be the 383 going in the Challenger.






Hopefully I'll have some shots of the Bee in primer and close to being ready for color sometime this week...I'll bring ot home for a few things, then off to paint booth!

Did finally round up some 383 magnum emblems for the shaker.

So, now the sub frame connectors, torque boxes, and repair patch are in. I have some finish work to do on the patch, but it's mostly done and hopefully going back for paint soon...
