Can you guys give me any info on the subject? Good and bad? I checked with Ogden's and for the front they said 950.00. The bumper is 69 RR and is in nice condition. How about Tri-cities bumper in Tennessee?

Yes, Tri-City Plating in TN does great work - I know a lot of people that have used them and I've never heard of anyone having any complaints.
Located very close to VA-NC-TN border and also Bristol NHRA/NASCAR track.

Tri-City Plating

I drove down there and dropped off the front bumper on my 70 RR about 11 years ago - they plated it and shipped it back to me.
Price back then was around $300.
Bumper still looks great.

Prices have gone up a bit since then (see price quote page on website), but still a great bargain.

I picked up mine at Carlisle, they shipped one to me also. Both bumpers are excellent and holding up great. I'd recommend tri-city also.

I recommend Tri-City as well. They were very easy to deal with when I had some issues with my first bumper. They exchanged it without issue.

Bumper boys for a winter driver, no never mind, their chrome falls off so it will rust in one season.

No, not even a daily driver.
No one should support a business like Bumper Boyz.
There is something seriously wrong with those folks, and the way they run their business......
I figure the only reason they are still able to get customers is because those customers do zero research before going to them.
Very, very low quality work, and awful customer service.

I had my front bumper done by Paul's Plating in PA 2 years ago and I'm very happy with it. They fixed one hole that was overtightened and sucked in and straightened one spot out right at the crown of the bumper where it looks like someone ran into something. The original quote was $950 and I actually hadn't noticed the crown damage until I took the bumper off. The damage was pretty significant. I let them know before shipping it and they fixed it and still charged me the original quoted amount.

FYI- the rear bumper on my car was purchased from Bumper Boyz about 15 years ago and it still looks very nice. I don't know if you'd get the same product today though.

I had Advanced Plating in Nashville TN do my Dart bumpers. Top notch work, but a little pricey. They market more towards the ISCA 100% perfect show car crowd vs the daily driver guys so you pay more for the extra time they put into it.

I used Tri Cities about 10 years ago for both front and rear. No complaints. I couldn't find any flaws. This was done just before the EPA banned the caustic chemicals used in the process.
