I recently fired up my GTS and I used a set of headers that came off of a 340 Formula S (both 4 speed cars)and the passenger side inner tie rod end hit the header. I tried a number of things to cure it until I thought to look at the mounts on the Barracuda. The passenger's side rubber mount is about twice as thick as the driver's side. I swapped the thicker mount in and problem cured. Everything I look at shows the same mount on both sides. Were the originals thicker on the passenger's side on a 4 speed cars?

Thanks in advance, Kevin

The rubber isolator should be the same left and right.

there was something way back about a truck? biscuit mt that was the same but thicker (taller) that someone had used for a swapping dilemma to get more height. Any numbers on yours?

If there was I didn't see it and it's in place now. A buddy and I had talked about the possibility/probability of it being from another application and the PO of the S had to figure it out for clearance.

Has anyone else faced this issue when running headers on a SB 4 gear A-body?

Tracked down the mount, it appears to be a 72-74 W200 mount.
