A lot of people who say they have 30 years of experience actually have one year repeated 29 times...

Glad You Guys are so impressed with Yourselves. There are lots or 'acceptable/good' welders who aren't career welders. Everyone has special knowledge and skills. 120 Volts is too small for adequate material fusion.. common mistake.. Yes,.. I'm an engineer and am opinionated.

A friend of mine had a ladder bar set up installed in his dart by one of his buddies. Used a Hobart 120v mig with .023 wire. Did a very nice job. Car has been to the track many times. No issues. I think the true is ya just have to know how to properly weld.

iagree iagree The spring perches on my Dana 60 were welded on by a friend using a little welder plugged into a normal 110v outlet under his carport. Carrying a 3900 lb car, been 8.90s in the 1/4. Almost dragged the bumper and tripped the 60' beams w/ the back tires...no trouble w/ those welds.
