I thought in 69 it was a single pin connector and it switched to a three pin connector in 70, but that isn't right.
They switched the switch on 5/15/68 to the three pin.
As mentioned these fit super tight so make sure all your blades are straight.

The other two terminals are for backup lights. I don't have them on my car so I ended up using a crimp splice on a single wire squeezing it down to where it just barely fit over the center pin.
'63 Dodge 330 11.19 @ 121 mph Pump gas, n/a, through the mufflers on street tires with 3.54's. 3,600 lbs. 10.01 @ 133mph with a 250 shot of nitrous an a splash of race gas. 1.36 60 ft. 3,700 lbs.
