It has 3 switches, 2 are buttons, one is a lever. One button for the other racers bulb, one for your bulb and one to back up with

It is a trans trigger...They were all the rage a few years back and a lot of cars in NorCal were using them. Since that car came from NorCal and left a number of years ago not surprised to see it. It is nothing more than a different style trans brake button, or trigger as it is called.
