Hey guys, what's it gonna take to put my Mopar flanges on a Chevy turbo header? Thank you in advance.

Simple cut and weld if your just changing flanges... at
most you might need to change the tube shape at the flange

I wasn't sure how the tubes would line up. I was hoping it was just cut and weld. Thank you.

They arent much different at all.. at most you bow
the pipes a little. but they are very close.. I've
used a lot of chevy kits for mopar SB

I don't agree, I looked at this before the overall head length is quite a bit different (about 1/2"). If you're going to cut them up that much, might as well make a log manifold and be done with it.

Mike you were able to bow it that far in the past? Which Chevy header fits a mopar body/torsion bar that you were able to do that with?

Not sure if want to stress them that much especially on a turbo deal that's prone to crack anyway.

Once I spread then I heated them to neutralize
them.. I still have that set

Did you use an adapter plate or were you able to drill the Chevy flange?

It may be ugly, but it sure is slow.

Girls comb their hair in rear view mirrors and the boys try to look so hard....

If your asking me I cut the flanges off so no
adapter plates.. I dont care for adapter plates
being thats just another leak point.. if I need
that much space I make a thicker flange but
normally I add some tubing so I can use a 3/8
flange.. which I like.. and I cut each set of
tube free(other than the center 2) and drill a
larger hole in each pair so it can grow.. one
hole gives you the alignment and the other will
allow for growth.. thats worked for me for years
now

i have used your method ever since you mentioned it many, many years ago, and i, for one, can say for certainty, that flat out works ! even on cheapy 1/4" flanges. thanks for allowing me to "steal" your method mr. p !
