From Facebook https://www.facebook.com/ChryslerPower/Chrysler Power
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our fearless leader and friend, Roland Osborne. He passed this morning at 7:10am. Please remember his wife (Elizabeth) and children in your prayers during this time as we all here at Chrysler Power mourn his loss. His passion and heart was with this community and he carries that love with him into the hereafter. We will continue his legacy as per his wishes, though we will forever be marked by his loss.
We're thankful for your support, and thank you for your part in helping Roland realize his passion.

Met him a few times. Always a fine gentleman. Watched home videos not long ago of a Mopar show at Tri-State. He, Tom Hoover, Bill Golden and Dave Koffel were all having fun with each other on the practice tree.
He was very passionate about Mopars and serving God. Now he is working on Mopars where moth and rust does not corrupt, and NOS parts are reasonably priced.
Well done Roland.

Used to buy the magazine a couple decades ago. Stopped because the bible-thumping kinda put me off. But the guy always came across as genuine in his writing.
Every time someone who made a difference passes, the hobby is diminished.

The good they die young.... He had asked me to write a devotion for his magazine, sadly, I had not finished it. :'( Now he may work on God's Fury, the horns from the Ram, and meet God's "Valiant" men. C'ya there!!

Roland was an old dear friend, I can't write enough to describe him, you just had to know him. A truer hardcore Mopar man never walked the earth, not to mention his commitment and passion for his church and family. He was simply a great guy. While not common knowledge, he had been fighting cancer for quite some time and all the while he persisted in keeping his magazine alive and thriving, it was a LOT of work and he never quit right up to the end. While he never gave up his fight, he was also a realist and knew that he might lose the battle, the topic of keeping the magazine alive beyond his lifetime came up often. Chrysler Power was his dream, and we, as his contributing team of fellow enthusiasts, promised him we would continue the effort, the magazine will live on.

Met him when he was in Southern California. Had a shop in Reseda. Lived 2 blocks from me. He had good times and bad, as I guess we all do. May the LORD open the gates and welcome him in. Rest in peace.
