I just put on 225/70/15 redlines from Diamondback on black steelies up front and 275/60/15 on the rear. 1968 Road Runner

The back looks great, but I feel the front is too high. Are there any tricks from people on here who have lowered the front suspension?

Thanks.

Back off the torsion bar adjustment.

Thanks. Someone told me if I go too much it will mess with the alignment. Can they be adjusted down enough to make a difference?

Yes, and yes the alignment will have to be redone.

I would measure the height change just to have that baseline amt number at your disposal. # of t bar bolt turns wouldn't hurt either.

I also agree with any change in the front suspension should be followed up with an alignment but there are exceptions.

If the present alignment is good, as in equal on both sides. A minor height change will only have a minor effect on camber. In this particular case it will have the same effect on either side with an equal height adjustment. So it will have a slight change on camber on both side and a skinny 225 70 will be very tolerant to a minor camber change.

With that said, I'm the guy who would not accept a tenth of a deg difference from Left to Right on a car with a wide tire, like 245 45 17.

when they aligned my 65 dart (manual steering), I wanted (O) camber on both sides & they got that but to do so the caster was (iirc) about (2) degrees different on each side, best they could do, appears something was hit/bent at one time. I wanted as much positive caster as they could get. It floated down the road perfectly. Didn't have it long enough to see if there was a tire wear issue.
