If you see as low as 20 psi idling-hot warmed engine, don't fret. A good basic rule of thumb is having 35-40 psi at 2000 rpm hot though.

And 10 psi per 1000 rpm is also a rule of thumb...

What oil weight are you running? Makes a difference work

40 after warm up

Is that sitting in the drive or after a 20 minute highway drive to get an honest reading?

Id say its all good, dont know about others but as a kid with some ragged out mopars 8-15 wasnt uncommon at idle and 30-35 going down the highway and never a spun or locked bearing and that was with 30/50 or at times straight 50.

Its hard to kill these old things.

are these numbers idling or at some RPM? A little high if idling but nothing to be concerned about....just means bearing clearances are on tight side....If this is a street engine no problem....

Take care,

Nothing wrong with your pressure. Not uncommon to have 70 psi or so cold on a BB Mopar. Run it.
