I have a club cab shortbed, and I can't find much of anything about this package. Thanks, Mike Beachel I didn't write the rules of math nor create the laws of physics, I am just bound by them.

Dinuba, California, Home of the PALOMINO ranch and 440 truck farm, where dodge trucks have a home. Have Four 1979 dodge PALOMINO trucks now.

poorboy I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 10,525 Freeport IL USA	If I remember correctly, the Round Up trucks were a package option offered for a few months out of the year (sort of like the Spring Specials). If you bought a truck during the package option period, you got some popular options at a reduced price through this package. Dodge probably offered the same package discount several times a year, but each package had a different name for the package, and were on sale at different times during the year. Each package had its own sticker set and probably a dash badge, and maybe special paint or seat covers, as part of the option package. It amounted to little more then a sales gimmick. Gene

B3RE OP mopar B Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 561 USA	Thanks guys, I knew they were part of the "customized as purchased" package trucks, but I was hoping to find info on what the package was specifically marketed for, and possible desirability as a collectable. I have been told that they were only marketed in the Northeast, which is where I am, but at this point, I don't have anything to verify that claim. There is very little info for the Round Up that I can find. I've seen a few trucks over the years. I'm guessing they were all 4 wheel drive due to how the sticker is constructed. Interesting. I have a 79 RC Prospector that I bought from the original owner (even got the down payment rect from the dealer). Best I can tell is that the prospector package was the decals and the upper body (adventurer) molding. Was built 318-2, 3 tree, pie plates, vinyl low backs, am radio, silver dash face, no door inserts, no tail light trim, quad head lights. Has generic "custom" badge on dash, no pkg code on under hood sticker.

It "had" a nice interior and some chrome trim. /6 with 727 and 8 1/4. Figured, a dealer spec. to look nice and be economical. I have mechanical Aptitude. I can screw up anything.
