Does anyone out there make parts to build your own intake - intake plates, runners, etc.

I'd like to fab a max wedge tunnel ram style intake for EFI.

The Indy cast tunnel rams have the bosses for EFI. Just buying one of those tunnel rams would be the easy way to get a MW size tunnel ram with EFI.

If you don't want to use the Indy cast tunnel ram then I think your other option is sheet metal at 4x the cost.

Well I want to keep it low profile and was thinking of a front mount throttle body. So that rules out the Indy t/r and the crossram. It won't cost 4x the money if I build it. I wish Eddy would make that EFI manifold of theirs for MW ports!

This isn't something I'm going to do tomorrow but have been mulling it over for a while. I can get all the material CNC'd or waterjet cut. I can bend up the runners in two pieces. And I can tig it all together. But off-the-shelf pieces make life simpler.

Maybe buy a Holley EFI ram and cut it apart and turn it into a Mopar EFI intake. Or, ask Holley to add a Mopar version to their product line up. They have a bunch of low cost sheet metal EFI ram intakes but no Mopar one yet. Maybe if you ask for a Mopar version they can make one. All it takes is some different dimensions on the runners. They have all of the dimensions since they make Mopar intakes so Holley can do it if they want.

I used the RB spacers that were for stageVI heads. Also built this little press brake to bend the runners. with this little brake and a hydraulic press, I was able to make real nice radius corners and have taper in the runners. The intake with throttle bodies cost less than $200 in materials but A WHOLE LOT in labor!

I can see the parts from either of those sites costing more than my entire engine investment! But it sure is cool stuff and gets the brain working. Thanks for posting !!

TRE sells sheet metal intake runners also. Don't know the price structure, though.
