Looking for the gasket that goes on the cover where the shift cable goes into the tranny on a 65 Chrysler. Any sources?

There is no gasket on the shift cable but the rubber O ring is .700" OD X .100" thick.

Small aluminum box approximately 2 inch by 5 inch. Bolts to bottom of trans. One cable goes into it. Need the gasket for it.

It sounds like someone has put a older cast iron torqueflyte in that car work
Does the cast iron transmission case bolt into the aluminum bell housing?
If so you have a early cast iron tranny in that car, not a 727 like should be in it shruggy scope

Cab, I think your forgetting the parking lock housing that were on early 60s TFs. I don't know if you can buy one of those gaskets separate. Probably easier to make one.

So that's for the park brake.
I scrapped out a 65 New port a few years back.
I also thought that was the shifter cable.
