Is there a specific one (part #) more correct for a 1969 340? I have 2 intakes and one looks like a 1968 and the other a 1970. Thanks!

The Mopar foundry, all of them, cast different parts with different casting numbers and casting dates for use through out the year My point is that the lower casting number will be made before the higher casting number for the same motor in the same year, especially if they have a mid year update or design change Look at your fender tag for the schedule production date and use the intake with the proper casting number that has a casting date before the SPD

I have a original 340 intake I took off my 340 dart in the early 70's. I'll go out and see what numbers are on it.

That would be a 1970 intake.
