Just picked up a cheap set of aluminum wheels that I'd like to use on my mirada or cordoba the fronts are 14 inch rears are 15.. I know the 15s will work on the rear but I was wondering if it's possible to use a spacer on the front for the 14s to clear the brakes or if it would work at all?

Stock 14" rims for disc brakes will clear the stock Mirada brakes.

Have you tried test fitting the aftermarket 14" rims yet? They may clear as well.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

one thing to watch on 14" aftermarket wheels is the balance weight to caliper clearance. the wheel may clear the caliper ok when test fit without weights installed, but when the tire is mounted and balanced, those weights "might" not clear and be knocked off driving from the shop. this can happen with stick on or [if the wheel is designed for them] normal clip on weights.

If balancing weights are the only concern, the answer is here:
