I have a broken two wire single plug speed motor in my `64 Sport Fury, and have three spare 4 wire dual plug variable/ dual speed motors and wondering if I can wire up to work as a single speed?

My motor has a blue/black wires only, others have blue/black on one plug and yellow/red on other plug.

Thought I would ask before testing theory.
