6bblgt OP I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 17,514 Las Vegas, NV	1969 Road Runner 4-speed dash frame has a couple EXTRA holes from under dash gauges - are all 8 of these added or are some of them original? 4 left of the steering column & 4 right of the ashtray

topside Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 20,723 A collage of whims	I don't have a car handy for comparison, but I'm under the impression that the factory holes are punched, or threaded using a doubler or insert plate. I do recall more holes than items on a stock dash, which were maybe used for fixtures. My guess is that if the holes have burrs from a drill, they're probably from installing aftermarket gauges, tape decks or CB units.

The first pic top left there are two added holes looks like from a single aftermarket gauge but all the other holes are factory. 6bblgt OP I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 17,514 Las Vegas, NV	the 4-speed "REVERSE" light hole is there no rear seat speaker it looks like there was a "pilot" hole for locating the "AIR GRABBER" cable, but was missed to the right by an inch
