That price is right. Looks nice and should hold up great. Do you remember what brand of product was used?

Good for him. Too bad for me. I would have definitely had him wrap my bumpers.

Just messaged this guy. Came in much cheaper than others. $420 to chrome wrap both bumpers for the Cuda.

So far, all that's been mentioned is wrapping and the spray on chrome. Sounds like the wrap doesn't work too well. I have had experience with spray on chrome, parts I had done don't hold up well after time. It doesn't have the same color as chrome. It WILL turn yellow, and usually has a lot of dust in it. Especially on larger parts, such as bumpers being discussed.
There is a chrome shop that can actually plate fiberglass with REAL chrome. Paul's Chrome Plating in Evan City Pa. The process uses a copper base that can be applied to fiberglass, then electroplated nickel and chrome! I have no idea what they charge for this. They are not cheap. They are a very high end user kind of shop. Show car work. If you want your glass bumper to look like chrome, then use chrome! This beats the heck out of spray on crap!

Before I had mine wrapped I called him, and he quoted me $750 each.

i was surprised on the technique used, as it really "hosed" on the product. how could it do that and not produce runs was amazing to me. you would think with that much run off, a catch and filter/reuse system would be employed. the results looked very nice. i wonder how the longevity of the coating is ?

popcorn I'm looking at front and rear glass bumpers for the new ride...How in the world can somebody paint chrome like that? Can a novice like me do it? The wrap is another way to go I guess. Both look great. I was going to shoot them with the brightest "Chrome" I could find and call it a day, now it looks like I'll be re-looking at my options.

I work in the paint industry, and one of the companies I work with makes a chrome paint, but it's not an automotive type of paint. It's an interior 2-component alkyd varnish.. I've requested a sample, don't know anything more about it at this time. The rep told me that if the surface is prepped good and flat, it looks pretty good, but he was unsure of how much yellowing it would see if exposed to extended UV.

Hey guys don't have the car anymore John Cadamore (pittsburghracer) has it now, but I had my rear glass bumper done. Mandish Motorsports in Monaca, Pa. He is a great person to work with & has been racing Mopars longer than I can remember. The bumper looks awesome for sure. Maybe John can post a picture. Been several years now, but I think it was $400 a bumper.
Please try him, about 25min. from downtown Pittsburgh

I just got a quote today from this outfit. $1250 each for the fiberglass bumpers and $900 for steel. I think paint will work just fine thank you.
