What is the hanger for right to the left of the back seat fastening bracket. Car is an R/T 440 car. Is this something they added for all dual exhaust cars and the passenger side exhaust used somethin else under the car?

It's the inside portion of the bracket for the drivers side muffler hanger. T/A has the same thing. For some reason they used different brackets on the drivers side than the passenger side, the passenger side is all welded on just inside of the wheel well, whereas the drivers side is bolted on behind the seat back.

Seeking info on a Mr Norms sold T/A VIN JH23J0B308737. Does it still exist?

All cars started life as if they were going to be a 318 single exhaust, and if car was coded for dual exhaust then the hanger was just screwed on down the line.

iagree
My 318 Challenger only had the pass side bracket. I added a repro driver's side bracket for dual exhaust.
