I am a BIG admirer of some of these small block builds you guys are now racing. The 60 foot times of most of these builds are turning out some KILLER 60 times and running great 1/8 mile times but seem to fall short on 1/4 mile times. Have you ever tried a tunnelram set-up to see if she would keep pulling all the way down the track. Just curious. My engine is only 780-800 HP in car right now. Been 150mph and 8.83 in 1/4 at 2940lbs I think I am getting about all she got. New motor makes 909 so that should pick it up some. Very nice. Do you have any idea how much horsepower Brians old small block was putting out? I know it was killer in the 1/8 too. I assume most of you guys are running 3 speed transmissions. My Duster is a pig (1.33-1.34) in the 60 foot with the powerglide. Brian had 2speed His car worked more like super stock car I would say it made 840ish. I did heads and cam and I can't see how it would have made more than that but was never on dyno. Key word was Brian's car is super efficient

I'm constantly amazed at how hard some people will work to make the rest of us look really slow.
Bravo! Sir, my hat is in my hand.

And a piston π Look, a gas-ported hockey puck! I recognize a couple of those intakes from your display at Carlisle last summer. The only one that was there was my intake with the fogger bungs and price on it.

The one modified to use a 4500 carb was there, too. I remember asking Brett about who did the welding. That's a bunch of intakes ago. Lol
