I recently came across this ad for a 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda for sale.
http://www.cars-on-line.com/85075.html

In the ad it states that, "Car was originally FE5 Rallye Red, with Red interior which is very rare. Registered with Galen Govier this is 1 of only 2 V codes built red on red."

Does this mean that Chrysler only built 2 V code red on red 'Cudas in 1970?
Or does it mean Galen only has 2 of them in his registry and there could have been more of them that were built?
Is it really "very rare", as stated in the ad?

Any knowledge and insight on the subject is greatly appreciated.

Not has, 'had' at the time he wrote it.

No one in the world has records of the option combinations Chrysler built back then.

I believe the '70 'Cuda "promo" cars were red/red/440+6/auto/SHAKER, so right off the bat there were a number of identical red/red V-code 'Cudas

And the fact that it would take a complete resto to change it back to that "rare" color combo makes his hype completely worthless.

Doesn't make any sense to try selling a car based on it's original color combo when it needs a complete restoration to get there unless the price reflects that.

So could a 1970 red on red V Code 'Cuda that is not in Galen's registry be accurately advertised as one of three know to exist?

Not accurately.
Galen knows of two.
How many were built is unknown.
