They have a 5spd that has mopar bell housing patterns, multiple shifter locations, and rated to 700 ft/lbs or torque. They are supposedly the hot ticket in the Optima series, but are a sponsor too. Seems like a good alternative to the Passon 5spd. Pricing is around $4k, see here:

Anybody run one?

Shannon Hudson was going to install one of those in his green Valiant and a Pentastar 3.6L.

They offer Mopar bell housing bolt patterns, but be reminded you'll have to open up the bearing retainer bore in your stock bell, your better off using the Mopar Quicktime bellhousings that are set up for the TKO/T5 Tremecs as they share the same size bearing retainer flange dimension as the LGT-700, and have Legend drill the TKO/T5 bolt pattern into the LGT-700 case, input spline size is 1 1/8-26

My Satellite has the earlier RS 600 version and my Dart has the SS 700.

I really like the RS 600 in the Taxi and have nothing but good things to say about it. Mine was a Keisler version and has the Keisler BB bellhousing. My Dart is using a Quicktime. Either are decent solutions, but the Quicktime requires more patience with fitment.

Does the trans fit the car. Was there major work in the tunnel area.

B Body was a bolt in. A Body got a removable tunnel, so I never fit it into the stock opening.

I have the LGT-700, it is a Keisler kit.
Installed in my '69 Coronet. Kit was a joke, had the rear of the trans hanging low to clear the T-Bar crossmember. This made the headers hit the suspension. I measured the output shaft to top of trans tunnel before removing the original. To put the LGT in, I had to cut the T-Bar crossmember for clearance to raise the trans output shaft. Also, the speedometer gear comes out in-line with the T-Bar cross member, so the cable takes a sharp bend. So far that has not cause a problem.

Other than the fitment issue, the trans works great.
Silver Sport Transmission sent me an E-mail that they have a "Perfect fit" 6-Speed for the B-Body. They mention a solution for the T-Bar crossmember, but not what that entails?

I run one in my 70 Road runner. Like above I had to trim and rebox the torsion bar crossmember. I used a QuickTime bellhousing and made a hydraulic throw out bearing setup. I did get the box from Walden speed shop good people. If you need more info just PM me. Great trans though love running through the gears.
