I need a socketed downpipe to use on a '77 318 exhaust manifold ball and I'm not sure what size it is. The exhaust is 2".....is the ball/socket typically 2.5" or 3"?

I have a 77 truck small block exhaust manifold here, at the widest point, right against the flat flange, the bell measures 2 1/2". Usually the pipe doesn't fit up against the flat. I'd say a 2" pipe has a 2 1/4" to a 2 3/8" bell on the pipe. No pies here to measure. Gene
