My oring is leaking fuel out the outlet of the fuel pump. Of coarse I broke the cheap plastic clip that holds it on. The oring is dealer only and cost $40. The clip is 10 more. Any one know of a cheaper source than the dealer?

Well seems like the parts man was new and you can't just buy the o ring and clip. You have to buy the whole fuel line and drop the tank to change it. I'm not even sure it's the fitting. It may be a cracked fuel pump! I think will take off the bed and work from the top. Now I did see a utube video where the guy cut a 22" x 12" hole in the bed for access😳.

My 06 fuel pump was cracked on top and it didn`t leak gas but it did throw codes for the evap. The fuel line clips were available thru dorman. I dropped my tank. Hardest part was emptying the tank.

$40?! I bought one for my 98 Dakota from the local dealer for $10 after tax. Is that different than the 05s?

Well. I don't know. They don't sell just the o ring. I'll pull the bed in a few weeks and check it out before I order anything. I have my lift tied up at the moment.

More times than not the fuel pump is cracked.....
