the shade might be reformulated by now if it's even still available.
i know PPG has discontinued a lot of tints since 93. a lot of yellows have been discontinued due to lead in the paint.
chromabase is Dupont.

I think chromabase is Dupont, which is now Axalta, if that helps narrow it down. yes that helps. it explains what i thought were bogus hits in a google search. didn't know about lead issues. one would think they would reformulate it....

i had my car painted back in 93 and i'm trying to find out if the same color is still available.
what i have on the invoice is Hot Hues, Lemon Glow, W9335KK, Chromabase B/C mid temp.
for the life of me i can't find anything by searching the internet. i don't know if the W9335KK is a 'in house' product number or what it is.
anybody able to help me? The Hot Hues former Dupont line is still available, as noted it is now Axalta, your color Lemon Glo is part of the HH Sweet & Sassy line, and is a 3 stage paint system, your mixer should have no problem accessing the pdf file thru Axalta to mix your paint, assuming he has the HH components on hand Mike

Make sure the paint shop does a spray out to make sure it matches , since those colors are not current and money makers for the big paint companies the match might not be good as when they were matched originally the others mentioned all the formulas are different now. That generally applies to OEM/Fleet colors, the ALTs were deleted from the formulas, and generally a single mix formula that best matched the chosen color was derived at to keep the mix formats low in the data base of each paint mfg/supplier, the Hot Hues is a custom line, there are no ALT's to the mix formulas, the only way the color would change is due to improper mixing of component weights, or substitution on the mixers behalf Most of the Hot Hues are 3 stage systems, so hopefully the OP knows that the correct/recommended shade base was used when his vehicle was painted But regardless, a spray out by the shop is mandatory in any application

Mike I've been spraying Dupont products for about 4 decades, so if I don't have the actual material on hand, or on the computer, I know several sources to obtain it from, just glad it helps you out Mike
