Went 5 rds at Milan today. Car ran 9.0x all day. The suspension and converter combo is coming around. New bullet from Lenny at Ultimate. Went a best of 1.240/5.718@119/9.04/144.33 on the brakes.I had it jetted to lean and a head wind so mph was a little low, 147. This run was .02 quicker than its previous best in the 1/8 when it ran 9.02. The 9.02 was with Pro Systems Holleys as well. Today was on Edelbrocks. Hopefully the weather holds out and we'll get one more shot this year.

Great job, Doug, wish they'd run 1/4 mile down here!

I've been running a borrowed ATI 9.5". Lenny made me a new converter same core. It was about 400 rpm tighter than the ATI. Lenny suggested changing the stator which he took care of. Though it's still slightly tighter than the ATI early looks appear that it may be better. ATI flash 6200, fall back 1/2 6300 2/3 6400. Ultimate flash 6000 1/2 6200 2/3 6250.

Hey doug looked for you when we where leaving but couldn't find you. Nice going on the rounds and getting that thing to come around. on our last run the 60's fell from 1.23 to a tire spinning 1.45 so we where done for the day because we couldn't run the number.

I came down in between rounds and you guys were gone. I loosened the shocks after rattling the tires on the first hit. That fixed the starting line but down track felt loose.

Very good. Between 300-1250ft. That's the strange part. It's run better mph this year at 3000Ft. That's why I believe it to be lean.

The DA doesn't matter as much as the water grains. 1200ft air could be junk compared to 3000ft air depending on the GOW

My Big Dummy of The Day question: Is there a correlation between GOW and Relative Humidity?

Yep, it depends on the temperature.

I was surprised that our car had 1.23 60's then first round blew the tires off and went 1.45 and rick couldn't run the number. looked like we where getting way too much body speration so I tightened the rear shocks one click but we didn't want to wait 2 hrs for another licence pass. so we left and will have to get back out.

The worst 60 ft was 1.28. Bill stood the Rambler up later in the day 300 ft out and smashed the pan. This is the best I've seen Milan.

The car continues to be totally impressive - that is flat out flying for an NSS legal car - the 8 second time slip is coming pretty soon - no doubt! Congrats Doug!
