I'm having a local company (they subcontract to Lancair) make some molds for fibreglas fenders, stock flat hood, front grill add on and front bumpers my 1966 Dart. The parts will be race weight. Thier saying they can and will make the parts into a one piece front end on demand also If they turn out nice I will have the doors, trunk lid and rear bumper made next. If any of you racers potentially want some of these please let me know now so I can have the molds made for that amount. All the other fibreglas companys I've talk to needed to know that also. I don't have prices yet but I'm sure they will be competive with the other major brands PM me on here please. Thanks: Cab

I'll be curious to see how they turn out. Not a lot available for this 1 year only body style.

Cab, my Dart is not set up to keep air out from under it, and I am sure it has exceeded 155 mph past the stripe, never an issue with handling, never noticed anything including side winds. I have no belly pan, nothing is blocked off in the front. If you are still concerned, a chin spoiler would do the same thing and then you can keep the good looks of the 65 front The 66 rear bumper requires a different rear valance and it looks like an after thought. It also has different bolt hole spacing where the bumper brackets bolt onto the body. It also doesn't look right because it doesn't follow the body lines like a 65 bumper on a 65. By the way, I need a better front valance, if you have one to spare. Mine has taken a lot of abuse in 39 years of fun, and is pretty bent up!

Doesn't a 65 Dart have the same front bumper as a 66? Same rear bumper as a 64? No, it is one year only I'm probally going to use the stock 1965 rear bumper also instaed of the 1966

The front valance is pretty nice, (it came from Los Angles)if you want some pictures of it send me a E mail to cabburge@wans.net with Dart Valance pictures in the title and I'll take some and send them back to you on the reply I have two 1966 parts cars, one GT and one four door sedan, that will be going to Tom Humprheys at Cuda Connection in Klamath Falls, OR. once all the molds are made.I'll probally keep the stock 1965 rear bumper on the car also The car is currently certified to 7.50 ET and the motor (555 C.I. Koleno block with B1-MC heads)I am planning on putting in this car should run mid to low eights at or above 155 MPH
