decided to use 3/16 lexan in my windsheild. do i need a vertical support in the center of windsheild? this will eventually be a low-mid 9 second car

Its going to depend on how much curvature the windsheild
has to how much it would move.... but I wouldnt use one.
I use 1/8 and run 150 mph, yes it bows in at speed
but I dont like the look of a bar in the middle

with enough screws an 1/8" wont go anywhere.
