Moparts was just mentioned on the live feed....someone from Moparts bought Monte Smite some parts for his trailer?
Step up, who was it? It was blusmbl. The 7 pin connector came out of the socket and drug about half of it off, so I had no trailer brakes. Met him at Norwalk and told him what happened. He said he would also be at Martin. He took the time to go by an RV store and get me a new connector and lead and brought it to me at Martin so I could fix the trailer. I made a point to tell Frieburger and he announced it over the PA...............As far as the 2x6 on my trailer roof, it rode there 1000 miles. When I had a lean to built off the side of my shop for the trailer to sit under, the guy apparently left an extra roof beam on top of the trailer. Had no idea it was there. I parked right behind the bleachers in Martin and somebody noticed it. It was about 20 foot long and I guess was heavy enough it didn't blow off. It had actually barely moved, as you could see the outline of where it started out lying. By the time the day at INDY was over, I was out of nitrous and didn't go to Columbus. Pumped 620 pounds of nitrous in 4 days

Thanks for telling Frieburger, Monte! I missed it being announced at the track (I think I was checking out the cars in the back section of the pits at the time) but watched the live feed later and caught it. I was just happy to be able to help somebody at the event. I saw Lutz broken down on 131 that morning, but my buddy and I both figured we'd be no help with troubleshooting anything on a pro mod car so we kept driving. lol
It would be nice if Hot Rod would list the engine family/displacement, trans and power adder for each car on the results sheet. There were some really awesome powertrains that I only picked up on after checking out everything at the track. Lots of turbo LS motors, but I saw a decent number of nitrous cars and manual trans rides too.

Pumped 620 pounds of nitrous in 4 days I heard there was less nitrous cars this year and more turbo ones I have always carried 10 mother bottles and usually run out on Friday. This year I had 12 mother bottles and ran out half way through Thursday. Plenty of nitrous cars. It was a last minute deal that the Holley trailer wasn't there. If I had known I would have stocked my own trailer. I could have sold half dozen complete kits if I had them. There may not be a huge number of massive nitrous gulping motors like the Vette and Maschmeier as it used to be, but there is still PLENTY of guys who use it. 9 sec and quicker street cars just don't grow on trees and there are a ton there and ALL of them are NOT turbo cars

Jeff I actually sold a lot of shirts, which always surprises me. My shirts aren't "cool" nor have awesome graphics so it always surprises me when I sell any. Not sure why anybody wants one........LOL!!! But it was you who made me decide to bring them. I went to get you a couple and decided, "hell, I will just put them all in the trailer"............LOL!!! Sold all my hats as well

Not being overly gaudy is what's nice about them. Most race shirts are too busy IMO.
Glad you sold a bunch.
