Hi, I have a 383 bored .030 over with 10:1 compression,it has a 495 lift cam with 268 duration. It has 906 heads.Looking for advice on the rocker set up.Is it worth the extra expense for a roller rocker set up?Any reccomendations? Its in a 69 Charger with a 727 and will be mostly a street car. Thanks for any input!

Id say a good set of iron adjustables would be enough.I even ran a set of non adjustable heavy duty one before. But .500 lift is pushing it.Rocky

I and many others have run the 509 mopar cam with oem stamped rocker arms- no issues. There is still a post on this. People have run pretty stout hyd cams with no problems using stamped rocker arms.

Keep old mopars alive.

I used stockers on a cam with 510 lift. No problems. They were "well used" ones too.

I ran the stock stamped rockers with the .484 cam for years. Raced it and all and never had any problems. Ron

I ran stamped rockers on my 533 lift cam with no problems. I did change over to a set of crane gold rockers later on just because I went with variable duration Rhoads lifters. I think Summit sales the complete kit for 379.95.
