Those two sheets are a bit puzzling.......
At 7200rpm, the "after" sheet shows roughly a 100hp improvement, while at the same time using over 50lbs/hr less fuel.
The fuel flow at the end of the "after" pull(7700) is less than what it is at the beginning of the "before" pull(5800).
Averages at the bottom of the page;
Before - 320.1 lbs/hr After - 237.2 lbs/hr

Were both tests done with the same carb and same fuel?

I was told by the the engine builder that BSFC lb/hph is what he prefers. Are you saying your engine builder (and dyno operator?) is trying to tune from the BSFC, instead of the air-fuel ratio? If so, somebody should tell him to Google "you can't tune using BSFC" to help him understand why that's a flawed approach.

That is totally gorgeous and exactly the car/combo I'd want if I was to ever get back into racing over here, slay those BB Mopar boys just like I did in the old days.

And so does Pettis and EVERY carb on his dyno needs more fuel across the board when in the car and at the track making passes. Afr's to me are the base of tuning then salt to taste from there........That car is a complete work of art............
