Yeah, but what I think Fish is saying is that since the cowl scoops most back end edges almost being flush with the windshield, the hood could not perform its pivot to an open position like a hinge type because the scoops edges would hit the glass. By the way Fish, I'll give you a pass with a Chevy part being that it looks good. I even think it looks mean and better in primer as it is.
