Can anyone tell me what an Isky rev kit does for your engine and at what rpm's its helpful? Is a rev kit money well spent on a mostly street car? Thanks!!!!

I think a rev kit is actually a better idea for a street car than a race car. The rev kit keeps the lifter in place against the lobe so the wheel isn't hit by an impact when taking up the lash. Old man Isky used to claim a significant improvement in reliability when running a rev kit due to that fact.

One problem is that Isky is the only one making a rev kit for BB Mopars and you have to use their special lifter.

Does Isky still make the Rev Kit that had oversized springs with a cap that kept tension on the rocker, pushrod & lifter..I think it was Hemi Only...

Just checked Isky's site...Nope!
