Helping a friend swap out from the factory wheel on his 70 Charger. He wants a Nardi wheel.

Who makes an adapter for this? I tried the nardi catalog but its more geared for euro stuff and isn't complete on american offerings.

My Build thread: Let the hemi swap begin!

1968 wanna be pro touring whatchamacallit with some fancy stuff and a new roof skin.

I have a Euro wheel (Formuling). I used a Grant adapter which has the plate for the horn contact, the Grant collar to match to the column. To that I bolted the Formuling adapter which just happened to have the three holes which line up to the Grant adapter. Painted all the visible parts with the same textured finish as the column and it looks awesome.

If he uses the Grant adapter, pay attention to the depth on the shaft. Mine was going too far down on the shaft and buggered up the turn signal plate and the collar was rubbing on the column as well. I mad a spacer from a piece of tubing and everything is cool now. Some of the adapter kits have a spacer and some don't.

Without any info on the type of Nardi wheel of choice, your not going to get much results, but LaCarra has a few hub adapters for aftermarket Italian/American and Euro steering wheels on Dodge/Chrysler products, I have 2 Italian wheels on my Mopar toys, using LaCarra and Grant adapters...if you know what Nardi wheel is being used, that will narrow down the choices
