Looking for anyone on here that has it on their 71 ride or any other year for that matter. Looking to see what the hitch looked like, if it was factory or dealer installed (from my research it appears as though the dealer did it) and how they were installed. Thanks!

there were NO factory installed musclecar era MOPAR passenger car trailer hitches

if one was installed at a dealership - it could be of just about any configuration or manufacturer

I use to own a "trailer tow package" '68 Charger - it never had a hitch

If you'll check the back of your owners manual you may discover the answer. Attached as a for instance is a shot of page 45 from the '69 Imperial manual.

I had a 68 Dart GT convertible with the trailer tow package. That included with the 318 a 727 trans, heavy duty cooling, and 8-3/4 axle. It did have a hitch, and I used it with a tow dolly to pick-up my 69 Formula S 383 fastback in 1986 and tow it home 80 miles... realcrazy

I have a 1973 Imperial coupe with the A35 Trailer Towing Package that hasn't been touched. From what I understand and can see on this car, the package included a transmission cooler mounted in front of the radiator and a sure grip 8 3/4" rear end with 3.55 gears. There was never any wiring or trailer hitch as part of this option that I can see on the car. Oh yea, the sticker price for this option for this 1973 Imperial was $100.35 -- I do have the original window sticker for the car.

My buddy bought a "beater" 71 Cuda in 1978. Makes me sick about how this car was driven through the winter when I think back about it --- it wasn't really very rusty. It was an all original 71 Cuda, 340 4 speed, leather interior, shaker, gull wing AND factory tow package INCLUDING a hitch. Junked in 1980 but I have a few parts from it laying around.

I had a 71 GTX with the A35 Trailer Tow Package. I believe the car a dealer installed hitch . They had to trim about a inch off of the rear valance panel to clear the hitch.

A c-body w/3.55s - didn't know Chrysler did that, can you share a pic of the window sticker/broadcastsheet?

I believe the transmission cooler was an OPTION in addition to the "trailer towing package" (on '73 b-bodies, anyway?)

I only have this one crappy photo of my window sticker from my 1973 Imperial coupe. I know I saw the 3.55 ratio on the window sticker, but obviously you cannot see it on the portion that I took the photo of. I'll dig it out again to see if it's there or not. I don't have the broadcast sheet for this car, but the fender (or should I say radiator tag) is there. I know I saw 3.55 someplace............ I'll keep looking for the evidence.

Wasn't a 355 available on a C with a Slant 6 and 3 speed manual?

My A35 car is a 1970, trailer hitch was removed before I got it. No mention of the hitch on the cars original paperwork

My 1970 Fury 4-door is an A35 car.

A hitch was added after the sale, but unfortunately the second owner pitched it.

My bad - my 1973 Imperial coupe has a 3.23 8 3/4 in it, not a 3.55. Don't know where I thought that -- but it does have a Sure Grip diff in it -- so that's still pretty cool.

I had a 71 satellite with the tow package, looked like it was made from 1/4" flat bar
