I have priceless photos of Dzuster and DVW holding in their hands the light weight door strikers that I made out here. His crews only words were: "Ho-Lee chit man". LOL.
Purple pure stock challenger of Pauly ??? was spot on and deadly. I also made conversation with the surgeon general himself " 6-pac Bob K". Real cool aficionados to say it softly.

Throw an egg on his roof on a hot day. he might come over more often. LOL

Wow, Ted S. built your first mill?

That's like having the late Don Carlton teach me how to shift.

Heard stories of Ted's stashes at home.
I came to the party too late. At least the music is still playing.

Unfortunately, I might have to jet back to NYC on Sunday morning. If I stay extra maybe I can meet some D-boyz in their hoods.
I do come during the holidays in the Winter as well.

B3Racing had their small block turbo Duster there. It's kind of an olive green color.

I was down there for a couple hours last night and I have to say it was very well put together event. Im still abit disappointed that the Dodge brand doesnt honor other makes of chrysler products, but it is what it is. Maybe ill just have to build a dodge just for events like this. All and all i had a good time but honestly I was Jones ing to be out on the track......

Check out my build on Facebook Ttoad Hurley its updated regularly

I appreciate it, but no worries man. I was going to say whats up, but you were deep in convo with Steve M. I had a decent enough spot to see the starting line anyway.

I recall seeing the Blue dart up at the Chrysler museum show a few months back. R5 motor, yeah? Sounded healthy and was putting it work, just couldn't hold off the charger once he brought the power in.

Problem solver for other Chrysler brands to compete:
Built a Plymouth or a Chrysler using a Dodge engine. LOL.

In all seriousness, it narrows down to brand. Dodge being the last brand standing doesn't look good if even another sibling brand takes the prize.

I saw the green duster both at the Nats and yesterday. Some turbo cars could not get a good enough burnout because of creep forward issues at the line. Some slipped slid right into the big red eye. Some spooled up for too long on a long burn down and lagged or heated up and caught fire like one gents poor car.

All in all, it was a fun event and some of the D's fastest.

Had a great time seeing many friends. Saw some different machinery out there for sure. Our first run was a throw away. Trans brake didn't hold and it rolled the lights. That will happen when you forget to put it in 1st gear, whoops. We were at the head of the line for our 2nd pass when the train came through. After the gates raised they shut it down. 7:00 was there set time. Though as Jeff said nothing went on for well over an hour after that. Here were the two big issues I saw. #1 the event was supposed to start at noon. It wasn't even close 1:30? maybe. #2 there were many participants who felt they didn't have to wait for there turn and ran 3-4 passes. When I asked the worker at the head of staging I was told "don't worry about it". I asked two other officials still nothing. As competitors watching at the line started to realize what was happening the group got pretty vocal. Finally a guy came down in a golf cart and policed it. But it was two late. I would say over half the racers got one pass. A simple punch card would solve that issue. Over all it was a unique experience.

True that to what DVW attest.
I saw them bust the supposedly line jumping snake green viper. I also saw some other mopes jumping line. I was not sure if it was legit or re-run because of a tree foul up or something.
Next year should be more better tuned.
The line and the rest of the street may need just a little more prep. Though captain Kirk who was brought in from Norwalk did an excellent job of cleaning the fire spill on the line.

11" Quick Time pros on the rear on American Halibrand wheels of which he said were about 26 lbs each. As you can see, we got into weight conversations. LOL.

There were a lot of different kinds of eyes in the sky aside from Drones.
Like this flock of geese trying to make a pass along Woodward as well.

Another eye in the sky that rose the hairs on a lot of necks. B29 Bomber making a run. Can not down load the video for some reason including the final between the Dart and the Charger.

For some reason Paul's Pure stock Challenger did not make the finals. It was deadly out of the hole and very arrow straight to the finish.

Here's DVW applying what seems to be a joke with the punch line waiting in the wings.
They were about to bare weightless witness to hand formed door strikers.
DVW's car is in the same ballpark weight wise. I don't know how he's doing it.

Punch line.
Here are the boys unwrapping the tissued door strikers. Note the smiles.
Confused frowns would indicate heavy.
Smiles would indicate feather light.
