Not to be nitpicky, but correct me if I am wrong Bob - didn't you buy the Dart from Frank Madden in KY - but it was Ray Dailey's original car (and paint)though. Mark J

Yeah that was!..My buddies the McCorkle Brothers had bought a new hurst ss/amx in 69 for 7k..sold the drivetrain in 72 for 600 and even flew it to the new owners...You can't even buy one of the 4584 holleys for that now...and the car sat in the junkyard..only to be later found and sold on e-bay for big bucks..

I remember going to the track all the time and my brother and I taking our raggie-ann and andy sleeping bags, in case Dad raced late, which happened VERY often. When I was older, it was fuelling up and handing tools. I never wanted to stay home.
