How big is the tach? I won't be in town for another week and a half, but I can drop off the starter if I come to pick it up.

The larger size.. 5" or what ever they area ?

I've got a few of the 2 5/8" normal gauges around for sizing too I think.

As for seat belts, I really like RCI Platinum belts. They are silver in color but what I like the most is that they are soft (some others are like putting a hacksaw blade to your neck). They are very affordable (latch style around $70) and you can get their 2 year re-certification for $20.

I agree on the shift light. If you purchase an Auto Meter shift light and uncap that sucker, you will be able to clearly see it in broad daylight as long as it isn't blocked by your helmet. Those suckers are obnoxiously bright. I bought an Auto Meter Sport Comp Monster Tach with the shift light and I mounted mine about where Ron suggested. Guaranteed I will see that shift light come on.

I’m listening.
