I'd like to see some of your cage mounted switch panels. I'd like to make a custom overhead panel for all my switches. None of the aftermarket pre-made panels have what I want and I'm not paying that much for one. I figure I can reuse my lighted rocker switches and pushbuttons, just need to figure out how to fab it up and fasten it to the roll bar...any ideas or pics???

my switch panel is down low as when i looked into overhead lighted rocker switches i was told by a couple of racers they're a PITA when racing at night & the lights are a distraction. i'm glad i did as i see it now on other cars at night being so bright in your line of sight. if you only race in daylight then i guess its not a problem.

rebel...I can see that being an issue. I can always mount it on the dash bar.

Mine isnt lit so no big deal... I just know
where the switches are.. start button on the
left then ignition next to it... then its water
pump then fan... if I race at night they all go
up.. the extra switch I have hooked up to a fan
that blows at me(my A/C)

The Mirada top hoop bar was farther ahead than the one in the Duster I'm currently wheeling. I liked having the switch panel up in that car, but with the Duster I'm killing fuel and ign at the stripe so I kind of like having it down at dash level. I also noticed it's a bit easier to reach in and turn something on/off with the dash mount over the top mount. I didn't answer a single question you had..... did I. laugh2

Sheesh Fastmop.... I thought mine was like a small aircraft. You're closing in on level space shuttle with those switches!
