look at the (3) holes in the filter (their offset pattern) & there are the same holes/same pattern in the VB & just orient/turn the filter till they line up & the oil suction hole location will also match the one in the VB
live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth

Filter holes location. If a true bozo assembled the trans there might be screws in these holes.

Filter holes location. If a true bozo assembled the trans there might be screws in these holes. and if this is the case, what other surprises lurk inside ? No kidding , I took the pan off a friends 904 once and to my surprise ... NO FILTER ... It was last worked on my a trans shop ...
running up my post count some more .
