I'd get a can of "contact cleaner" at your electronics store, the spray can with the thin red straw & shoot it with that
live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth

Not designed to be disassembled at all. Since I don't have a switch handy I can't say how easy it'd be to pull apart and clean. But if this is it, Then you ought to be able to take it apart if you are careful and clean it up.
